Central Feeder Project Phase I

The San Bernardino Valley Municipal Water District (Valley District) overlies the Bunker Hill Groundwater Basin (Basin) which has an estimated capacity of 5 million acre-feet. The Basin serves approximately 600,000 residents in the East San Bernardino Valley from San Bernardino in the west to Yucaipa in the east (see Figure 1). The basin also serves approximately 300,000 residents in the City of Riverside.

Lakes and Streams

The proposed North Lake Area and South Lake Area Projects are a series of public facility projects and community redevelopment projects affecting public lands acquired for the North Lake Area Project and the South Lake Area Project, as applicable by the San Bernardino Valley Municipal Water District ("SBVMWD"), the Redevelopment Agency of the City of San Bernardino (the "Redevelopment Agency") and the City of San Bernardino (the "City").

Integrated Regional Water Management Plan

In 2005, the Upper Santa Ana Water Resources Association (Association) agreed to develop an Integrated Regional Groundwater Management Plan (IRGM Plan) to address major water management issues for the communities of the Upper Santa Ana River Watershed. San Bernardino Valley Municipal Water District (Valley District), as the regional water agency, agreed to lead the planning effort and received a grant from the California Department of Water Resources (DWR) to prepare this plan.
